The department of dermatology Okmeydanı Training and Research Hospital is a general dermatology clinic with a special focus on urticaria and allergic skin disorders. The Chronic Urticaria policlinic is running on Mondays (during the day) and Thursdays (half day in the morning till noon). Dr. Emek Kocatürk and a resident doctor from the team takes care of the patients usually. We also have a nurse to make the injections and perform skin testings. We in our clinic perform many clinical research to find out the pathomechanism, understand the impact of the disease on patients and response rates of different treatments. We have experience on pregnant urticaria patients. We celebrate WorldUrticariaDay with our patients, coming together with them and making them to join with other urticaria patients.
